They caught my eye. A little because they bobbed and nodded in the pleasant breeze; but more because they were separated from each other. The distance between them kept them apart, yet their actions were similar! What made these pretty entities nod synchronously though they were placed away from each other by circumstances or Nature! It was their connect. On a closer look I realised that though each was doing its own thing yet the flowers were connected, deep down. Their stems kept them linked.
This teeny weeny, nearly hidden link set me thinking. Can’t we, the intelligent race, too sport a common stem, a link, an interrelatedness despite the distances that time and locations tend to create? Our jobs, our circumstances and commitments might create a physical distance, but can’t the common stem of love, friendship and bonding keep us conjoined?
Worth a ponder, isn’t it?
